Manchester Airport Drop Off Charges
You can choose to be dropped off directly outside the terminals and train station however this is the most expensive option. The charge for this is £5 for five minutes and £6 for 10 minutes and is payable at the exit barrier when you leave.
An overstay charge of £25.00 will apply after 10 minutes. There is a way that you can use Manchester airport drop off for free.
The system will include ANPR (automatic number plate recognition) to register your vehicle. The payment is taken by the barrier when you leave. You can pay either by card, contactless or by cash.

Manchester Airport Pick Up
There is no way that you can get picked up at Manchester Airport for free. The free drop off is only for those getting dropped off not picked up. Passengers can be picked up in the arrivals car parks and multi-storey car parks. The charge for this is £6 for 30 minutes.
Do note if you have booked to park at the multi storey car park in terminal 1, you will be directed to the forecourt to enter the car park. There however will be no charge for you to do so.

Manchester Airport Drop Off For Free
The Manchester airport drop off area is located near the JetParks 1 car park on Thorley Lane. Passengers will need to take a shuttle bus to the terminal building – this is free to use. The shuttle bus operates 24/7. This journey will take around 5-7 minutes to reach the terminals depending on which terminal you need.
